For TeleTrip Campus, you have to BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop).

Event Details

Date: 29 Jun 2019 (Sat)
Time: 10am – 9pm
Fees: S$20/pax. Open to public. A simple packed lunch is included for this TeleTrip for convenience. BYOL: Bring Your Own Laptop.
Special price of S$18 for SUTD students, please provide your matriculation number during registration (NB: the registered SUTD student has to be the person playing on the actual day)
Rental of Laptops: S$15/laptop. We only have 10 sets. Specs: 1060 3GB, i7, 8GB RAM and 256 SSD, with mouse.
Registration Deadline: 16 June 2019 (Sun)
Venue: Singapore University of Technology and Design – Building 2 Level 2 Room: TT16/17

Registration Flow: The total registrants need to be in multiples of five to play a match as a team. Minimum 10 registrants and maximum 40 registrants. Registration is first come first serve. In the event if the final numbers do not make up multiples of five, those beyond the last multiple of five will be placed in the waitlist. For example, if there are 28 registrants, the last 3 will be placed in the waitlist. Registrants who are not accepted in this TeleTrip will be given priority for the next TeleTrip.
Confirmed Registration: Registration is only confirmed after payment is received. Payment details is emailed to you after submission of the form below. We will send you a confirmation email after payment is received. Please check your junk mail.
Individual Registration: You do not need to register as a team as we take in registration individually. SOOS OIO’s decision of team arrangements is final.
Latercomers: The teams and team members for TeleMatch will be disclosed at the start of the TeleTrip Campus event. Teamwork begins at the start. To prevent disadvantaging your team, those who are late will be replaced by those who are on the waitlist already present. Latecomers might end up without a team if multiples of five are complete and thus may not be able play the TeleMatch.
Waitlist registrants DO NOT need to make payment until your registration is confirmed. Waitlist registrants can be present at the event at 10am and we will slot you in when confirmed registrants no show or are very late.
NO refund will be given after registration is confirmed and payment is made.

Inside a Dota 2 Class with Ruth “Potatofluff” Lim

Introduction to Ruth “Potatofluff” Lim

Ruth “Potatofluff” Lim is on staff with SOOS OIO as an Esports Coach and co-developed TeleTrip, an offline gaming community event. She conducts DOTA 2 foundational classes and workshops for Esports Academy under SCOGA and also teaches the module “Team Management” in Informatics Diploma for Esports and Game Design.

Ruth Lim coached a competitive DOTA 2 team TenTwenty in 2017 that won CPL Championship DOTA 2 Edition 2017, came in 1st in Dew Challenge 2017 and represented Singapore in Asia Pacific Predator League in 2018. Ruth managed Team Impunity FIFA Online 3 who got 3rd in EA Champions Cup (EACC) Winter Cup 2016 representing Singapore. In 2017, she coached Team Impunity FIFA Online 3.

Ruth graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with Diploma in Games & Entertainment Technology and SIT-University of Glasgow in Bachelors of Science with Honours in Computing Science. She also holds a CoachSG coaching certificate.

Well recognized in the DOTA 2 community, Ruth attended numerous international gaming tournaments, got to know and learnt from many of the top players worldwide. Ruth hopes to share her knowledge and experience to gamers in Singapore and beyond.
